The aging mechanisms of Lithium-ion batteries occurs mainly during charging and at rest. Lithium-ion batteries are highly sensitive to temperature, charging and extended storage conditions. Furthermore, all these aging mechanisms evolve with the battery state-of-health.

The same battery can complete few dozen or few thousands of cycles depending on the use conditions! Our MAP® technology takes in account the use conditions and optimizes the battery lifetime, hence allowing a second life for the battery.
The second life consist in reusing a battery for another purpose, often less greedy. Moreover, to make second life possible, it is necessary to determine, record and analyse its use history (temperature, power current, etc).
For this purpose, the Skipper® Board establish a complete battery health record booklet.
